Four oaks grip was founded in 2025 by DAne and KAtie Soderquist. Dane has been in the film industry for over 12 years as a film director and writer. For the last 9+ years, dane worked at several churches leading their video teams; eventually landing a role as director and writer for a church in Fort Worth. While Dane’s background was always in storytelling and directing; he fell in love with G&E and lighting over the years. HE loved the challenge of creating compelling lighting and making intricate setups that enhance what you are able to do on set. In early 2025, Dane was given the opportunity to own a fully equipped G&E 3-ton truck and together with his wife, they founded four oaks grip.

Four OAks grip exists to help productions achieve their vision on set in a timely and cost effective manner. Due to the size of truck and amount of equipment, four oaks is built to handle productions of all sizes. The lighting rigs allow multiple locations to be lit at once; or one location to be lit at a higher end level with much more attention to detail. No matter what is needed four oaks is ready to make your film project a reality.
